AniStation v3.0.1 improves reliability, search, theme handling, player gestures, import and export behavior, and support for smaller-screen devices. It also introduces the new AniStation Catalog system, providing a more dependable foundation for anime metadata and search.

Android Platform
Section 01
AniStation now has its own searchable Catalog system instead of depending primarily on AniList, with MyAnimeList as a fallback.
The Catalog aggregates anime information from multiple metadata providers. If one upstream provider becomes unavailable, the entire catalog should remain operational.
More than 4,000 popular anime titles have already been manually synchronized to provide a strong starting catalog.
The Catalog is brand new, so not every title is available yet. Additional titles will continue to be added over time.
If an anime is missing from in-app Search but exists on AniList, you can trigger a one-time Catalog sync using its AniList ID:
Adult and Extreme Ecchi titles will continue to be unavailable on AniStation.
Search now includes better typo tolerance and fuzzy matching, making titles easier to find when a query contains a minor spelling mistake or uses a different title variation.
Section 02
Added a new System theme option alongside Light and Dark.
When selected, AniStation automatically follows your device's current light or dark appearance.
Added a Player Setting that lets you completely disable the swipe gestures used to enter and exit fullscreen.
Users who prefer traditional fullscreen controls can now turn these gestures off without affecting the rest of the player.
Added a dedicated Discord section inside AniStation, making it easier to join the official community for bug reports, feedback, feature suggestions, updates, and discussions.
Section 03
Increased the swipe-down threshold required to exit fullscreen.
This should significantly reduce accidental fullscreen exits while scrolling or performing other gestures.
AniStation now detects unavailable streams earlier and shows a toast explaining that the stream is not currently available.
This prevents the player from appearing to buffer indefinitely before the problem becomes clear.
The Shiro streaming server is available again.
Shiro now uses ReAnime as its source, replacing the previously used AniDB source.
Section 04
Fixed an issue where changing the device between Light and Dark themes could display incorrect Status Bar and Navigation Bar scrim colors.
System bar colors now update correctly when the active theme changes.
Fixed an issue where importing an anime list could incorrectly add episodes from completed anime to Watch History.
Library imports will no longer populate Watch History with episodes that were not watched through AniStation.
AniStation now remembers your selected Status filter along with your username when using Import / Export.
Your choice of Watching, Completed, Plan to Watch, Paused, or Dropped will be restored the next time you return to the screen.
This release includes additional refinements and optimizations throughout AniStation.
